Position: Veterinary Technician
Education: Associate degree in Science and Veterinary technology at Johnson College

Are you from this area?

I grew up in Old Forge and moved to the Wilkes-Barre area where I now live with my fiancé, Brian, our daughters Sophia and Amelia, and our pets.

Why are you in Veterinary medicine?

Since I was little I was fascinated with all animals.  I enjoy being able to help “put the pieces of the puzzle together” to figure out what is wrong with a family’s loved one who can’t speak for themselves.

What do you love most about your job?

I love coming to work and being able to work as team.  It’s nice to see patients grow up from puppies and kittens.  Most of all, it makes me feel good that I can be a part of helping a patient feel better and to help the owners feel at ease about their pet’s care.

Why do you work for SAAH?

I work for SAAH because we are a great team and we work together for the best interest of our patients.

What do you do as a hobby or on your time off?

My hobbies are reading, writing, and being outdoors.  I love spending time with my two daughters – Sophia (4) and Amelia (2y), my fiancé, Brian, and all of our fur babies.
