Yes, I am from originally from Larksville, but moved to West Pittston three years ago.
I have worked in human medicine for five years but wanted a change of scenery. I rescued a kitten a little over a year and a half ago, and as he got older, I noticed that he was a little different. This made me more curious about his health, so I did some research, and found veterinary medicine to be very interesting.
I love being around all the animals, seeing new ones each day, and the same ones over time. It’s not fun to watch your animal be sick, but watching my coworkers show the love and passion they have to help these animals makes coming to work easy, and something I can grow and learn from. To one day, be just like them.
SAAH is a welcoming and family like environment. The staff aren’t just your coworkers, they become family. I am truly happy to be a part of this family. We have fun while helping animals. I have never felt so welcomed or appreciated anywhere else.
I love spending time with my fiancé and friends. My fiancé and I are a part of the West Pittston volunteer fire department. On our spare time, we love going to the Garden Drive-In every Sunday for the flea market. We love going out for dinner, game nights, and watching TV shows- Chicago Fire, 911, Station 19, & Grey’s Anatomy.
